A staggering 90% of them were freed from child labour — children who should have been in classrooms, playing in parks, and dreaming about their futures were instead working in factories, fields, and households. This is not just a statistic; it is a warning bell. It shows that despite progress in child protection laws, child labour is still one of the most urgent human rights issues in our country .
