Hello everyone!

My name is Uttama Surve, a 16-year-old Indian student pursuing a Diploma in Architecture & Interior Design. Alongside my studies, I am passionate about promoting child protection, child rights awareness, legal awareness and social responsibility.

Through my writing and awareness activities, I aim to help children, parents, students and communities understand the importance of creating a safer society for every child.

I am inspired and supported by my father, Mr. Aniruddha Surve, who is a, (PLV), in a Vidhika Seva Pradhikaran DLSA (District Legal Service Authoritie) and businessman.

Children with disabilities are children who may experience difficulties in areas such as:

🛡️ Why Do Children with Disabilities Need Special Attention for Protection?

Some children with disabilities may face additional challenges in communicating their feelings, understanding unsafe situations or seeking help.

For example, a child may experience difficulty:

Explaining what happened

Recognizing unsafe behaviour

Communicating with adults

Accessing important information

Moving away from unsafe situations

Reporting a problem independently

This does not mean that children with disabilities are weak.

It means that families, schools and society must take additional responsibility to ensure that protection systems are accessible and inclusive.
