❓What Happened?

Maulana Sajid Rashidi made deeply disrespectful and hurtful remarks about Member of Parliament Dimple Yadav Ji, criticizing her attire and questioning her right to enter a mosque.

These were not just political comments — they were a direct insult to a woman’s dignity, and to every Indian girl 👧 who looks up to her.

🚫 No Apology, Only Arrogance

Despite public pressure, Maulana Rashidi refused to apologize properly. He said:

"I will apologise only if she apologises first..."

📢 And till now, he has still not apologized.
This is not just disrespectful — it’s dangerous. A man who insults a woman and then refuses to even say “sorry” must face consequences.

India has strong laws to protect women from public humiliation, insult, and indecent speech. Here are the key legal provisions that apply:

🛡️ Indian Penal Code (IPC):

• Section 509 – Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman
  ➤ Punishment: Up to 3 years + fine

• Section 354 – Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty
  ➤ Punishment: 1–5 years + fine

• Section 295A – Deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings
  ➤ Punishment: Up to 3 years + fine

• Section 153A – Promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion, caste, etc.

📜 Constitution of India:

• Article 21 – Protection of life and personal liberty, includes dignity

• Article 14 – Right to equality

🔒 Why Lock-Up Is the Right Answer

Words matter. And when someone speaks with hate, insult, and arrogance, they must face consequences.

If this behaviour goes unpunished, more girls like me will grow up thinking silence is the only option.

We demand:
✅ His arrest and legal punishment under IPC
✅ A strong public message that women cannot be insulted
✅ True respect for women leaders like Dimple Yadav Ji, who serve our country

Dimple Yadav Ji represents many girls and women across India. When her dignity is attacked, it feels like an attack on all of us.

We don’t want fake apologies.

We want Maulana Sajid Rashidi to be locked up.
