Every child has the right to feel safe, whether they’re at home, in school, or playing outside. But do we really know who is responsible for protecting them?

This blog is for parents, teachers, students, and community members — because protecting children is everyone’s job.

🔍 What Does Child Protection Mean?

Child protection means keeping every child:

• Free from abuse (physical, emotional, sexual)

• Safe from exploitation and neglect

• Protected from harmful situations like child labor, trafficking, or bullying

👥 Who Are the Main Stakeholders in Child Protection?

Parents & Guardians	Teach children about safety, listen to them, protect them at home.
Teachers & School Staff	Create a safe environment, report abuse, teach good touch/bad touch.
Police & CWC (Child Welfare Committee)	Handle child protection cases legally and urgently.

• Female counselor or trained staff

• Zero tolerance policy for bullying and abuse

💡 Real Story Inspiration: “Anupama’s Voice”

Anupama, a 12-year-old girl, faced abuse silently. But when she learned about her rights in a school workshop, she gathered courage, reported the abuse, and got support from the CWC and police. Her life changed.
